Duarte: “I will eat grass if needed, Romagnoli is great”

Leo Duarte joined Bennacer and Leao during today’s press conference at Milanello, speaking about his new adventure with the Rossoneri, having left Brazil.

On the competition: “Milan have quality defenders. If I have to eat grass here to conquer a place I will do it. It will be a healthy fight and whoever is better off will play.”

On Romagnoli: “He is a great player, I followed him in Brazil a bit. He is helping me a lot with the position. I hope to adapt to improve my contribution.”

On adapting: “I got out of Brazilian football and it’s definitely different, especially on a tactical level. I still need a few days to adapt to the club and the coach’s ideas. I want to learn the language and learn more about Giampaolo’s game”.

At the time of the call: “I was shopping with my wife when I received the call from Maldini, my father is a fan of Paolo and we are proud of that. I want to make history with this club.”

On the arrival at Milan: “I’m here and I’m very happy. My father has always told me about it and now it is good to be here. I’m very proud to be here.”
