It has seemed like Milan may be moving away from the experimental signings of recent years under Massimiliano Allegri and the Italian has requested as much. However, it appears that a mix of talent will arrive this summer.

If there are opportunities to sign players that are almost ready, if not already ready, with high ceilings, it is difficult to see the Rossoneri saying no.

Taking advantage of frustration

So, step forward Can Uzun, the young talent from Frankfurt who is currently being considered by the club. According to reports from BILD, via OneFootball, the Diavolo are keeping a keen eye on the Turkish midfielder.

He has been left understandably annoyed by recent comments from his head coach, stating that he is not useful in both stages of play.

“He knows what to do with and without the ball. When he gives that to the team – not to me – he will play.

“The reason some players didn’t play is that you can be excellent on the ball, but not good enough without it. Under me, you won’t play in that case. I’m very clear about that.”

Indeed, the comments are a bit of a public humiliation for the youngster and it seems that a move away this summer could be on the cards. Before the incident, Frankfurt had valued him around the €80 million mark.

However, due to the recent situation and some injury issues this season, he could be available for as little as €40m. Certainly an opportunity.
