90min in England report that Ziyech is ‘nearing a loan move’ to Milan given that he is not a big part of Graham Potter’s plans and the Rossoneri management have retained their interest in signing him after their attempts in the summer.

Chelsea were willing to sanction a permanent deal during the summer transfer window but Milan decided to invest in Charles De Ketelaere instead, but Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are ‘prepared to renew their push to sign Ziyech’ and sources have told 90min that things are moving in the right direction.

It comes after Ziyech made some interesting comments following Morocco’s World Cup opener against Croatia in which he revealed to rule out he idea of leaving in the winter mercato.

“It’s hard to say. We don’t know what will happen in the winter. It’s football, so it’s difficult to say,” he said.

Milan are also thinking about what to do with De Ketelaere in the short term with Leeds among the sides considering a loan bid.
