AC Milan have dropped out of the top 20 of the Deloitte money league rankings, with Barcelona claiming top spot for the first time.

The Deloitte Football Money League have revealed their 2020 table (via MilanLive.it) based on the revenues taken for each club during 2018-19, with the El Clasico dominating the standings as Barcelona (€840.8m) have taken top spot from Real Madrid (€757.3m).
Manchester United are in third having collected €711.5million, while Bayern Munich come in behind the Red Devils with €660.1m.
Three Serie A teams make the top 20: Inter are 13th (€364.6m) in large part due to a return to the Champions League, with Roma 16th (€231m) and Napoli 20th (€207.4m).
The Partenopei sit one spot above Milan, who fell to 21st place (€206.3m) after being 18th just a year ago having registered €207.7m in revenue.
As proven by Inter, the most important marker for this particular ranking is a return to the Champions League, an objective which today seems highly unlikely due to the club’s current standing.
