AC Milan continue to be linked with a move for Sassuolo star Domenico Berardi but the conditions are not there to find an agreement at present, a report claims.

According to MilanNews, Berardi is a name that interests Milan as they look to increase the quality of their squad ahead of the 2022-23 season and in particular in the attacking department where the likes of Brahim Diaz, Alexis Saelemaekers and Junior Messias are failing to convince.
Sassuolo’s demands for Berardi are high at the moment but there does seem to be some scope for a negotiation. The Neroverdi are asking for €30m and at this price the operation will not go through, but if Sassuolo were to go down or allow for advantageous payment formulas, Milan could really think about Berardi.
The player is held in high esteem by Stefano Pioli, so agents and intermediaries at work to see if something can be agreed that would allow the Italy international to finally join a top club.
