AC Milan have a new head coach, even if the club haven’t officially confirmed it yet. Indeed, Ruben Amorim has now signed the deal.

With the news yesterday about Amorim agreeing to become Milan’s next manager, the next question was when he would sign the deal and where. Now, it has been confirmed by multiple reputable sources that it has been done.
Amorim is Milan’s new manager
Fabrizio Romano first reported it, stating that the deal was done on his X account.
“Understand Rúben Amorim has signed his contract as new AC Milan head coach until June 2028. The agreement is valid for two years with one more season as an option, as always reported.”
MilanNews later followed, stating that he has signed a two-year deal worth €3.2 million per season, a little less than the expected €3.5m. The news about a €500k clause for Champions League qualification was confirmed, whilst a €1m clause for winning the Scudetto has also been included.
Again, the suggestions of an option of a third year were also confirmed, with the signing taking place digitally. After all, Gerry Cardinale and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are in America, and no CEO is in place, so travelling made little sense.
