Signing another No.10 has been high on Milan’s list all summer. In fact, after the signings of a striker and central defender, it seemed they would turn to a supportive attacker. However, the outgoing market has not supported these hopes.
Nevertheless, it remains a priority in case things change in the near future.
Amorim lists two
As Spazio Milan relays from Tuttosport, the Portuguese still wants another No. 10, with Rafael Leao’s future still not confirmed and there are two options.
Ruben Amorim has made ‘specific requests’ for the reinforcements behind the striker and Matias Soule and Ethan Nwaneri tick all the boxes, even if they are slightly different profiles.
The Argentine would represent ‘experience and consistency’, with his amount of playing time in Serie A. On the other hand, Nwaneri would ’embody potential and tactical versatility’. Now, the Rossoneri will decide which profile they prefer.
On another note, whether this means today’s suggestion from The Sun about Pedro Neto is false remains to be seen. However, it appears he may not be as much of a priority as had been suggested.
