Today’s edition of Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) writes that Kalulu has secured a big pay rise from €400k net per season to €2m per year, but now the focus shifts to other extensions such as Rafael Leao’s, whose situation remains very complex.
The management also want to conclude the extension of Ismael Bennacer in a timely fashion given that – after arriving in the summer of 2019 from Empoli – he has become an increasingly central player for Stefano Pioli and now it seems the midfield cannot do without him.
This season in particular the Algerian has shown leadership qualities that make him one of the immovable starters of the current team. His contract expires in 2024 and in order to renew he wants €4m net per season, a figure he feels justifies his importance.
There is the desire on both sides to find an agreement, but Milan will not be able to count on the Growth Decree as the 24-year-old already had his tax residence in Italy already at the time of his move to the Rossoneri from Empoli, so the gross amount of the operation will be larger.
