Blow for Milan as reliable source confirms PSG wonderkid is heading to Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich have swooped in to beat AC Milan to the signing of Paris Saint-Germain defender Tanguy Kouassi, according to a report.

Kouassi’s position seemed to change many times over the past few weeks: first he seemed set to join Milan, then he seemed certain to renew with PSG, and then rumours of interest from Germany arrived.

Several French outlets reported that Dortmund made a contract offer worth €2m-a-year for five years (total €10m) plus commission to his agents, an offer which has turned the heads of all parties.

However, according to Bild reporter Christian Falk it is their main rivals Bayern Munich who have managed to reach an agreement with Kouassi and his entourage, and the player will join on a free transfer this summer.

He will sign a five-year deal with the Bavarian side in a move which Fabrizio Romano claims has left PSG directors ‘furious’.
