A move away from AC Milan looks likely for Marco Pellegrino, who has spent this season on loan in Argentina.

There are a number of players who are linked with moves back to Milan this summer, after spending this season out on loan. However, the same fate will not await Pellegrino, it seems.

After joining the club for €3.5 million, the defender has not been able to build on his impressive youth career in Argentina in Europe, failing to hit the ground running with the Rossoneri or Salernitana, whom he joined on loan last season. So, he returned to Argentina on loan.

It seemed like he had his sights set on a return to the Rossoneri this summer, but it may be out of his hands, with the club already negotiating with Boca Juniors about a move away from the club permanently this summer, as Calciomercato.com reports this afternoon.

The Diavolo are seeking a figure close to €4.5m, which is a reasonable price for the 22-year-old, with all things being considered. Contacts have begun between the two clubs in the past few days, and it seems there are only slight differences to be ironed out with the valuations of the player.
