Tuttosport: Brahim Diaz factor could see Milan go back in for €25-30m Italy forward

The international break has sent the transfer market rumours into overdrive and the latest on sees AC Milan linked with a fresh move for Nicolo Zaniolo.

As reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews) this morning, it is well known that Milan made an attempt to sign Zaniolo during the January window but he ended up moving to Galatasaray after the Italian deadline had passed.

Despite this, the forward would gladly return to Italy and therefore it is not excluded that his time in Turkey could end after just six months. He would also approve of a move to the Rossoneri given that he had accepted it in the winter and was pushing for this solution.

There is another factor at play too: Brahim Diaz is expected to return to Real Madrid at the end of the season after three years on loan with Milan, and if this were the case then the Milan management would naturally be in the market for a new forward.

However, it will not be easy to snatch Zaniolo from Galatasaray because there is a €35m release clause in his deal, while his asking price in the summer should be at least €25-30m so it is an investment that the directors must evaluate carefully.
