There are likely to be changes at AC Milan this summer and Massimo Calvelli could well be a big part of those changes, but to what degree is unknown.

Since arriving in November, Calvelli has taken on an increasingly larger role internally at Milan and he has certainly come more to the forefront of the operations at the club. Indeed, whilst others have remained in the background, he has taken the limelight.
Calvelli’s increasing role
As MilanNews reports, he has become increasingly important internally in recent months, even to now, where he is the point of reference for Gerry Cardinale in Milano. He enjoys the respect of the owner, but he has no wish to become the CEO of the club.
Of course, this is a relevant topic currently, given Giorgio Furlani’s future is being heavily discussed.
Last week, he joined Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Furlani and Cardinale in London to discuss the management and the different situations at the club. Then, he accompanied Cardinale at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium this weekend.
He is becoming increasingly visible and central to the Rossoneri and it is unlikely that this will change. Whilst there are questions about the management, it seems he is the only secure constant.
