Camarda, Jimenez and Liberali included in squad for Milan Futuro debut

Milan Futuro will play their first-ever official game this evening, taking on Lecco in the first round of the Coppa Italia Serie C. Several of the youngsters that have been with the first team lately have been included in the squad.

Daniele Bonera’s men have been working together since the start of July, although some much longer than that, and they have played three friendlies. With two wins and one narrow defeat, the manager was happy with what he got to see.

Now, the real deal starts as Milan Futuro will be up against Lecco in the first round of the Coppa Italia Serie C. Kick-off is scheduled for 21:00 CEST and as reported by Mattia Barzaghi, the likes of Davide Bartesaghi, Francesco Camarda, Alex Jimenez, Mattia Liberali and Kevin Zeroli have all been called up.

As most of you will know, Camarda, Jimenez, Liberali and Zeroli all took part in the USA pre-season tour with the first team this summer. Liberali stood out the most, with some very good performances, but they will all no doubt be very important for the Futuro side.

On the other hand, Lorenzo Torriani has not been included as he’s now considered the second-choice goalkeeper for the first team (due to Marco Sportiello’s injury).
