CM: Conte not ruling out Serie A return as Milan deploy a patient strategy

The future of Antonio Conte continues to be the subject of speculation, and while AC Milan are considering an attempt to try attract him they might not have enough time.

According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, Conte has had a year of rest after leaving Spurs and he is now ready to jump into a new challenge, recharged and full of energy to prove he is one of the best coaches in the world.

The truth is that the Italian coach has not picked the league or the country that he wants to manage in, and instead the only assurance that he wants is a project that will allow him to win right away.

It has already been announced that Thomas Tuchel will depart Bayern Munich at the end of the season and this position ‘arouses a particular fascination’ in Conte because he believes the squad fits with his tactical ideas.

However, he already knows he is not the first choice for Bayern because they are in talks with Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso about a return to the club as head coach following his time there as a player.

Conte has not ruled out a return to Serie A if the Bayern door closes. Aurelia De Laurentiis has not lost hope of bringing him Napoli, even if it remains unlikely, while a return to the Premier League also seems distant at present.

What about Milan? They would wait for the right time to start a dialogue, as per the source. Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be his big endorser but the Rossoneri would like to end the season before starting to get serious about the post-Pioli era

We must remember that according to what we understand from the information we have received, Conte is unlikely to be the head coach of Milan next season.
