CM.it: Milan observing situation of Atletico Madrid playmaker who has fallen out of favour

AC Milan are once again monitoring the situation surrounding Angel Correa as the Argentine has fallen down the pecking order, a report claims.

Atletico Madrid are the reigning Spanish champions and they want to defend their title, and Diego Simeone has understandably put faith in his big name attackers such as Joao Felix, Antoine Griezmann and above all Luis Suarez, with summer signing Rodrigo De Paul and Thomas Lemar also offering depth.

Calciomercato.it writes how Angel Correa is suffering because of this, and he has been intensely linked with a move to Milan in the past especially in the summer of 2019 when Marco Giampaolo had just taken over.

Correa has racked up four goal contributions in 12 games across all competitions this season but his performances have been decreasing in impact recently, as has his position in the internal hierarchies of Simeone as he has played less than 90 combined minutes across the last four league games.

If things do not change by the end of the season, he could think of a move elsewhere and the report mentions that Milan are monitoring his situation and are waiting for a potential opportunity to arise.
