According to Calciomercato.com, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara wanted to change the right flank with the probable sale of Junior Messias and reflections on Alexis Saelemaekers, and the new management agree with that assessment.

The idea is to make a statement signing to reinforce what has been a weak point of the Rossoneri for a long time. Milan have been working on Christian Pulisic for several months, and the Chelsea winger an idea that could gain momentum in the next few days.

The American was offered to Milan by Chelsea in January window but was rejected by Milan because they wanted to include him as part of an exchange deal for Rafael Leao. Nonetheless, it was an unequivocal sign of how he is not considered unsellable by the London club.

The Pulisic idea is growing in momentum while Reiss Nelson fades away. He was probed by Milan in recent days, but has decided to accept Arsenal’s renewal offer and will sign until 2027 soon.
