AC Milan could allow veteran midfielder Lucas Biglia to leave the club in the January window, according to a report.
The arrival of Ismael Bennacer has seen Biglia slip to a back-up role already at the base of the midfield, with the Algeria international preferred as the anchor of the trio in the middle of the park.
The Argentine arrived from Lazio in a deal widely reported to be worth €17m back in 2017, and has gone on to make over 40 appearances for the Rossoneri in all competitions.
The latest from Calciomercato.com states that Biglia’s future at Milan is coming to a close one way or another.
Biglia has a contract which expires in July 2020 and he is not set to renew his deal with the club before then, by which time he will be 34.
As a result, it is possible that Milan could look to offload the former Lazio man in January to recoup even a small fee and shift his salary.
