CM: Milan resume talks over Chelsea duo as Giroud advises winger to join

AC Milan are already planning for next season and Paolo Maldini has a clear idea of the positions he wants to reinforce this summer. One of the players on their list is Christian Pulisic, whom Olivier Giroud spoke about recently.

It’s been a disappointing season for the Rossoneri in the league as they risk missing out on Champions League qualification for next season. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara don’t intend to give Stefano Pioli any depth excuses next time out, though.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan want to sign a midfielder, a right-winger and a striker this summer. For the right-wing position, Christian Pulisic is one of the targets and Olivier Giroud recently said the following about him…

“My understanding with him on the pitch was top, a bit like Eden [Hazard] even if I played less with Christian. He’s the kind of player that is very skilful, he’s a very talented player. If he could fit in at Milan? Good question, I think the people here would love it,” he said to CBS.

Milan are in talks with Chelsea not just about Pulisic but also the midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, per the report. The relations between the clubs are excellent and the Rossoneri are willing to sign both players under the right conditions.
