Milan are not just focused on the current season, at least if you’re talking about the directors. As is the case in today’s football world, you have to come prepared and especially ahead of the transfer windows.
Therefore, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are evaluating a few names ahead of the summer along with the scouting department. One of the names is Donyell Malen, who has scored 13 league goals for PSV this season.
According to Calciomercato.com, reflections are underway at Casa Milan as Maldini and Massara probed a deal with first contacts. Having said that, it wasn’t a negotiation and the directors just wanted more information on the situation.
It remains who will end up at the club this summer, though it’s certain that it hinges on Champions League qualification. It’s difficult to imagine Milan slipping up that badly, but given how tight the race is nothing can be ruled out.
