CM: Thiaw could see salary increase in wake of West Ham and Real Madrid interest

AC Milan defender Malick Thiaw could be set to see his salary triple in the near future as the Rossoneri seek to fend off interest in his services from Real Madrid and West Ham, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the German defender has been seriously impressing at Milan and it is only going to end in a positive way for the former Schalke man.

Now that he has become the favoured starter alongside Fikayo Tomori at the heart of Stefano Pioli’s defence, Thiaw is attracting interest from big clubs.

West Ham in the Premier League have made contact with his representatives and would be willing to pay €20m for Thiaw, whilst Real Madrid have even been watching his development closely.

He wants to stay with Milan and the club is willing to offer Thiaw three times more than the €800,000 he gets per season right now, even though his deal runs to 2028 if the extension is included.
