Rade Krunic has seemingly found himself on the periphery of Stefano Pioli’s plans and a sale next month cannot be ruled out with Fenerbahce still keen.

This morning’s edition of Corriere della Sera (via PianetaMilan) speaks about Krunic’s situation, starting with the fact that he was not even sent out to warm up on Saturday during the win over Frosinone and remained on the bench for the entire match.
The Bosnian, since the international break, played for six minutes against Fiorentina in the league and 37 minutes against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. He seems to have lost his centrality in the project that he had at the beginning of the season.
This serves as further proof that his farewell in January, potentially to Fenerbahçe, is increasingly probable. The Istanbul club wanted Krunic already in the summer but Milan said no because they lacked someone to fill in for Ismaël Bennacer.
Now, however, that the Franco-Algerian is back and the sale could be closed. Krunic had been pushing to join his compatriot Edin Džeko at Fenerbahçe and has so far not reached an agreement with Milan for a possible renewal of the contract expiring on 30 June 2025.
Fenerbahce would be willing to double the salary of the former Empoli man from €1.5m net per season to €3m net per season.
