CorSera: Milan have new meeting with UEFA planned over FFP – target will be made clear

AC Milan will soon have a meeting with UEFA to discuss their financial situation after the publication of their 2020-21 accounts, a report claims.

The Milan shareholders’ meeting took place yesterday afternoon and it was confirmed that the reported figures regarding the club’s 2020-21 financial accounts are correct. MilanNews wrote that the losses for the year are around €98m with consolidated losses of €96.4m, which is less than half the amount from 2019-20.

As reported by il Corriere della Sera (via PianetaMilan), the Rossoneri will have an important summit in the coming months with European football’s governing body. At the beginning of 2022 there will be a meeting with UEFA about Financial Fair Play, with Milan currently operating under a Settlement Agreement.

Milan will make clear their aim to reach a balanced budget (therefore no losses) within three years hoping that UEFA will acknowledge and appreciate the work they are doing.
