CorSport: Milan could meet Sassuolo next week – Berardi’s name has not gone away

AC Milan could meet with Sassuolo next week and the name of Domenico Berardi has not yet gone away, according to a report.

Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) reports today how Charles De Ketelaere of Club Brugge is the first choice target to come in and reinforce the attack, but in the event a deal cannot be agreed the Rossoneri will then accelerate for alternative options.

The main player in mind is Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech and Milan have already resumed contact with the entourage of the Moroccan, but there is the issue of his high salary that must be overcome.

That is why there are further options being considered too and Domenico Berardi is one of them. He is a player that has been repeatedly linked with Milan, and last season he scored 15 goals and provided 17 assists in 33 Serie A games.

There could be a meeting with Sassuolo during the week ahead, and it is likely that Berardi’s name would pop up as part of that.
