According to Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), the Milan management have presented an offer to Claudio Lotito’s Lazio for the midfielder Jacopo Sardo who is a star of the Biancoceleste’s Primavera side.
As with Matteo Dutu – who did a medical a few days ago – he would initially be assigned to Milan Futuro in Serie C then there will be the possibility of him quickly gaining promotion to the first team.
The Roman newspaper claim that the fee that has been offered is less than €1m including bonuses, but it is a sizeable bid, and a 20% resale clause would be included. Sardo does not have a professional contract at the moment.
Lotito, however, is also trying to include a counterpart in the operation, perhaps the loan of Lorenzo Colombo who returned to Milan after his last year at Monza. He would replace Ciro Immobile, sold yesterday to Beşiktaş .
If he were to go abroad, Lazio could receive just €100k from Sarda’s exit given that is the basic compensation owed to the academy a player came through.
With Lazio Primavera, the 19-year-old midfielder amassed 34 games, scoring eight goals and adding three assists.
