Last week, AC Milan announced the sale of Patrick Cutrone to Wolves for €18m. A figure that the Italian’s agent believes was too low, insisting that Milan could’ve got more.
“With that amount (€18m plus €4m in bonuses), I think that Cutrone was underpriced. However, only time will tell which club made the better deal, even if I think that I already know the answer,” Donato Orgnoni told Radio Kiss Kiss.
Despite his desire to remain at the club, Cutrone was shipped off to England in order to make space for new signings. Thanks to his sale, Milan have covered the costs of five players this year (READ MORE).
The agent also spoke about the interest that the striker had attracted, though the choice fell on Wolves for one key reason: playing time, which he didn’t get a lot of this past season.
“Cutrone had many admirers, even in Italy. Napoli were one of these, but we needed a team that would give him the chance to play with continuity,” Orgnoni concluded.
