As Tuttosport (via MilanPress) write in their Wednesday edition, Torino – under Roberto D’Aversa – are back on track with two wins in their last three matches. They are nine points clear of the drop zone and want to continue their positive path in the next match against a Milan side who come into the game off the back of a loss.
The head coach is already seen as a leader in the dressing room and by the fans. He knows the importance of Saturday’s match and in recent days he has asked his players to stay focused, as per the paper.
Tuttosport relayed these words as basic concepts: “We’re on the right path, let’s try not to take the wrong approach right now. It would be a real shame at this point. So let’s also try not to disappoint those who have started believing in us again.”
As mentioned, fans are following D’Aversa’s path with great interest, as evidenced by the presence of over 700 Granata fans at Monday afternoon’s open training session at the Filadelfia.
The team’s closeness to the team will also be shown on Saturday at San Siro. According to what Torino themselves are reporting, over 1500 tickets have already been sold in the away section at San Siro, but the aim is to sell all 1905 available.
