Di Marzio: Kamada to Milan move ‘on stand-by for the last few hours’

AC Milan seem to have put their pursuit of Eintracht Frankfurt playmaker Daichi Kamada on hold for the time being, a report claims.

It was a few weeks ago that news emerged suggesting Milan had agreed terms with Kamada and were looking to sign him on a free transfer when his deal with Eintracht Frankfurt expires, with the mention of a medical in the first half of June.

According to what is being reported by Gianluca Di Marzio however, the situation ‘has been on stand-by for the last few hours’. It is not clear whether this means there have simply been no forward steps, or if a change in strategy

Kamada has officially said goodbye to Eintracht and will leave for nothing after a season in which he scored 9 goals in the Bundesliga in 32 appearances.

In cup competitions however, Kamada scored 3 goals in the Champions League in 8 appearances and a further 4 goals in the DFB-Pokal.
