Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the negotiations between the parties are starting from a very good point: Tomori wants to renew with Milan, and Milan want to renew Tomori’s contract. The Rossoneri began talks in May to extend the agreement with the Englishman and optimism is now growing that he will remain.
The negotiation is progressing, and the feeling is that the next few weeks could produce a full agreement and the extension being made official. It is not yet done, but there is confidence that the 25-year-old will sign a new contract until 2027, while his current deal would expire in 2025.
Fabrizio Romano reported that renewal talks are ongoing and that Tomori is ‘in love with the club’ and is also ‘prepared to stay for many years’. Calciomercato.com stated that Manchester United have shown some interest in the ex-Chelsea man he gave instructions to his entourage not to listen to any other offers, because he wants to stay.
