Di Marzio: Frankfurt star keen on leaving for free as Milan lose leverage

In addition to the midfield, AC Milan are also investigating the possibility of reinforcing the defence this month. It’s proving more difficult than first thought, especially with regard to their target Evan N’Dicka.

N’Dicka’s contract with Eintracht Frankfurt will expire next summer and the German side are keen on selling him this summer as a result. Milan have good relations with the club and are willing to pay €15m for the defender, as per recent reports.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews), no confirmations have arrived on the aforementioned report. N’Dicka is keen on leaving on a free transfer next summer and thus Milan have no leverage in the negotiations.

Initially, it was thought that N’Dicka would accept the will of Frankfurt and that the €15m from Milan thus would be enough. The Rossoneri might have to turn elsewhere but there isn’t much time left of the transfer window, making things complicated.
