A new potential hypothesis has emerged in AC Milan’s potential takeover as Elliott Management could retain a stake in the club, a report claims.

As reported by Calcio e Finanza (via MilanNews), Investcorp are indeed negotiating concretely to buy AC Milan from Elliott Management and while many presumed that would mean the American fund step away entirely, that might not be the case.
Instead, the hypothesis that Elliott would remain within Milan with a minority stake holder should not be ruled out. Their permanent – even if it were just a mere transitory phase – would prevent a clean break and therefore would not interrupt the excellent path that the club are on.
The Singer family have helped turn the fortunes of the club around on the field and off it too, so to continue with the same management model and to have the Bahrain fund to provide their resources could be a possibility.
