The figures showing why Milan are interested in Eintracht Frankfurt’s Kamada

AC Milan appear to be very close to securing the free transfer of Japanese attacking midfielder Daichi Kamada who currently plays for Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.

Kamada has been one of the best attacking players in the Bundesliga consistently over the past few seasons and that is why many teams have been trying to secure his signature as his deal with Eintracht comes to an end.

This season, Kamada has scored nine times in the league and grabbed another six assists, whilst grabbing another seven goals in the Champions League and Deutsche Pokal combined.

In 2021/22, he got nine goals and four assists across all competitions and he was a superb creator in 2020/21, grabbing 13 assists.

The 26-year-old has still got plenty of good seasons ahead of him and given he can be signed without spending a transfer fee, it appears to be a no-brainer for Milan, especially given Brahim Diaz may leave the club.
