According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Paquetà will play as the trequartista against Udinese, which is Gattuso’s latest idea to find a solution to his team’s struggling attack.

Furthermore, Piatek will be joined by Cutrone up front, forming a duo that hopefully will provide the Rossoneri with goals. With regards to Paqueta, he’s following in the footsteps of Kaka. The last true player for that role, behind the strikers, was Ricky, who is Paqueta’s idol.

Since Paqueta’s arrival, Gattuso has always started him as a mezz’ala in the three-man midfield. However, now it’s time for something new, as Milan badly need to bounce back from two tough losses.

In any case, the experiment may be short-lived. Tonight’s game will be crucial to see if two strikers will work, as well as Paqueta’s new trequartista role. Most likely, the former Flamengo man will be given a lot of freedom, which he likes.
