AC Milan want to reinforce the squad with a right-winger this summer and they have several names on their wish list. Two that are more prominent, however, are Christian Pulisic and Samuel Chukwueze.
Pulisic struggled to perform for Chelsea this past season, bagging just one goal, but he showed part of what he’s capable of during the World Cup. Chukwueze, on the other hand, is coming off a great season at Villarreal with 13 goals and 11 assists.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Milan are indeed interested in Pulisic, who has just one year left on his contract. Given his age (24) and talent, he fits the project and the only thing that’s lacking is continuity, which he could find at Milan.
As for Chukwueze, the competition is fierce and Villarreal have seemingly slapped a €40m price tag on the winger. There is also interest from the Premier League and Milan will not spend that much for just one player, which is why they could focus on Pulisic instead.
From a marketing point of view, the Pulisic signing could also benefit Milan as the American market is very important, even though there are already many Rossoneri fans in the United States.
