GdS: Milan have €60m trio down on list of alternatives to Renato Sanches

AC Milan may have to change transfer targets if they are unable to sign Renato Sanches and there are three names being considered.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Sanches is the player who has long been identified as a suitable profile to replace the departing Franck Kessie, but Paris Saint-Germain also want him and he could link up with former manager Christophe Galtier and former director Luis Campos.

That is why Milan are looking at alternatives just in case they miss out and two of them are at Roma. One is Jordan Veretout, whose contract expires in 2024 and seems willing to leave the Giallorossi, with an asking price of €10m set.

The other solution would be to bring Bryan Cristante back to the Rossoneri after his stint with the Primavera. His contract is worth €1.8m net per season until 2024 and while Jose Mourinho likes Cristante, Milan playing in the Champions League is tempting, though his valuation is around €25m.

There is a €25m valuation for the third alternative which is Enzo Fernandez, a 21-year-old starlet for River Plate who is able to cover various positions in the midfield, as happened with Kessie. Milan are among the clubs that are watching him, but River will not accept less than his release clause.
