GdS: Milan open concrete contacts over 20-year-old winger – €25m could be enough

AC Milan are looking to add another young talent to their ranks and they have targeted Mikkel Damsgaard of Sampdoria, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), writes that there is a lot of competition to land the 20-year-old winger after his fantastic performances at Euro 2020 so far with Denmark, but the Rossoneri are willing to give it a try.

There has already been a first contact between the management of Milan and Sampdoria, with a phone call having been made to confirm that the Rossoneri have interest in the forward. He represents a profile ideal for Elliott Management’s vision, but the price tag is around €30m for a gem that a lot of top clubs want.

In the meeting between the two clubs, another important detail also emerged: Sampdoria are unlikely to accept the inclusion of counterparts such as Conti or Hauge, but €25m in cash could very well be enough.
