GdS: Several Milan players in the balance with summer of change coming

A whole host of AC Milan players have uncertain futures with the club coming into this summer transfer window, with as many as 11 not sure what happens next.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below), the summer will be unpredictable as rotational players and key players could be on the move if the right bids come in.

In terms of big names, it can’t be ruled out that French duo Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez leave. Milan are trying to renew their contracts, but Bayern Munich have shown serious interest in both.

With a high-level central defender expected to arrive, Fikayo Tomori, Malick Thiaw, Pierre Kalulu and Matteo Gabbia will all be under the microscope as some of them will be getting less minutes if they stay.

Into midfield, Ismael Bennacer has not slotted back in after his injury in the way that many expected and he could fetch a useful fee, whilst Yacine Adli may also be sacrificed to raise money for other areas.

In the attack, Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze are thought to be playing for their futures after underwhelming first seasons in Milan, whilst Luka Jovic is not guaranteed a contract beyond next season and he will have no guarantee of minutes if two strikers are signed.
