GdS: Milan’s €100m summer budget in doubt – without Champions League the plans change

AC Milan would not have the same plans and transfer budget available if they miss out on a top four finish, according to a report.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) recently reported that Milan could have around €100m available for the next summer market, and they have some big plans starting with renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

They added that another striker could still arrive in the summer, perhaps a young player who can grow alongside Ibra such as Dusan Vlahovic, while buying Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea for €28m is almost certain.

According to the same newspaper (via MilanNews), without a place in the Champions League Milan would inevitably have to revise their plans and budget on an economical level. Qualification for the top European club competition is essential and to achieve this the team have to stay above the waterline, with intelligence and without mistakes, in order to take the next step in the project.
