GdS: Openda and Thuram on the list as Milan look to revamp the attack

AC Milan are in the market for a centre-forward who can come in and help Olivier Giroud, with two names standing out above all on the list.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes how Milan are studying possible solutions to refresh the attack such as using the buy-back clause for Lorenzo Colombo, while there are other more established targets such as Marcus Thuram.

Milan have to deal with competition from PSG for the 25-year-old and they have made a higher salary offer, but the Rossoneri can offer a more central role in their project which includes a guaranteed starting spot.

However, alternatives are needed in case he chooses PSG and that is why Lois Openda is also still on the list. The 23-year-old is a profile that Milan have been heavily linked with over the past few weeks but then things went quiet with RB Leipzig seemingly on pole, but there could yet be a twist.
