GdS: Tomori’s agent causes alarm – his contract situation and subsequent value

Prague is not just any city for Fikayo Tomori. The Sport Invest agency, which represents the English central defender, is based in the capital of the Czech Republic.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) write, the Czech portal Sport.cz interviewed Viktor Kolar – the director of Sport Invest, which is the agency that represents the interest of Tomori.

“Tomori is a loyal boy and he doesn’t want to leave Milan, especially in a moment of difficulty for the club. However, Fikayo has the potential to take a step forward in the future. If he is well, he will be looked for, it is normal,” he said.

Thus, Kolar hinted that he receives many calls from different clubs asking for information and that in itself is enough to cause a little bit of unrest given his importance to the team.

La Gazzetta add that the former Chelsea man is protected by a contract until 2027 and this makes his valuation high, around €40-50m. Much will depend on how Milan’s corporate situation evolves.

Kolar also spoke about Tomori as a university student, headed towards specialising in business management.

“Tomori is already thinking about his future. He comes from a very solid family and knows that the football he plays will not last forever.”

On the pitch Tomori will start this evening, probably alongside Matteo Gabbia, and he spoke alongside Stefano Pioli at a press conference last night in good Italian, perhaps a sign of how settled he is.

“I’m fine, I’m happy to be back from the injury. We know what awaits us, Slavia will put intensity and energy into it and the stadium will be loud,” he said.

“At the beginning of the season we wanted to win everything and we didn’t succeed. Now we can only win the remaining games between now and the end of the season.

“Let’s take it one step at a time and see how it ends. We will have to be focused on the defensive phase and start again as soon as possible, to hurt them.”
