Goal: Milan listed among four possible destinations for departing Liverpool forward

AC Milan are one of four Serie A clubs that have been touted as a possible destination for Roberto Firmino, with the striker having left Liverpool.

As Goal Italia report, Firmino will leave Liverpool after eight seasons and with a Premier League title and a Champions League to his name. The Merseyside club announced the news back in March, after an agreement over a renewal was not found.

The report mentions that four Serie A teams are exploring the idea of making a move starting with Inter. The future of Lukaku, Dzeko and Correa must be decided, and the Brazilian could end up being an experienced reinforcement on a free.

Milan are also mentioned, even if at the moment they are pressing harder to sign Marcus Thuram. It is expected that two strikers will arrive after Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s farewell and the possible sale of Divock Origi and Firmino could well replace the Swede.

However, Goal admit that it is difficult to imagine Firmino as a Milan signing if you consider his age and salary. Owners RedBird prefer more targeted investments, mainly younger players at a lower price.

The other two interested sides are Juventus – who must resolve the future of Vlahovic, Kean and Milik – and Roma who have already dipped into the Bosman market for N’Dicka and Aouar. However, the Giallorossi are looking more at Scamacca, Arnautovic and Icardi.
