According to il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) Investcorp will dictate their guidelines and state their attentions regarding the summer transfer market as soon as the closing of the acquisition takes place, but they are still already thinking about the moves to make.

There has been no contact between the Bahrain-based fund and the current management who are continuing with the work done in recent months through meetings and interviews with agents and intermediaries.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will remain under Investcorp as the technical director and sporting director but there are still doubts about the CEO Ivan Gazidis, while reinforcements are expected to make Milan even more competitive.

At least 4-5 significant purchases will be made to strengthen the squad, with central defender Sven Botman expected to arrive from Lille as one of the first. Until the closing of the deal between Investcorp and Elliott nothing will be formalised – including the renewals of some players – but once it is done the new era can begin.
