Jacobone: Milan expected to renew Krunic’s contract until 2026 – the latest

In addition to reinforcing the squad with signings this summer, AC Milan also want to renew some of their current players. Rade Krunic, after a successful season, is one of the players set for a new deal with the club.

The Bosnian midfielder was a starter for the final games of the season and impressed in the No.10 role. Thanks to his versatility, he also got quite a lot of playing time throughout the season and it’s not surprising that Milan want to keep him.

According to Alessandro Jacobone, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara intend to renew Krunic’s contract until 2026. The 28-year-old currently earns €1.1m per year and he’s expected to get a pay rise in the new deal.

Although he won’t be a starter next season, Krunic is a player that could come in handy for Stefano Pioli, especially since the manager appreciates his qualities. A renewal, therefore, wouldn’t be a surprise at all.
