Journalist sheds light on N’Dicka situation: “Milan made a significant offer for him”

Journalist Christopher Michel has revealed that AC Milan made an offer to Eintracht Frankfurt for defender Evan N’Dicka who could still end up in Italy.

Michel – from the Sport1 television channel in Germany – spoke during an interview with PianetaMilan and he began by stating that ‘it is possible’ that N’Dicka will move to Italy in the summer of 2023 because his agent has asked Eintracht Frankfurt that there be no meetings with sporting director Markus Krösche.

N’Dicka will therefore ‘leave on a free transfer and he will be attractive to plenty of clubs. At 23 he is a Europa League winner and starts for a very good Bundesliga club, so a move to Serie A cannot be ruled out, but it is Juventus that stand out as a potential leading candidate to land him.

“Milan made a significant offer for him in the summer. There were also talks with the player and his agent. However, Eintracht wanted a lot of money for N’Dicka, around 20 million euros,” he added.

“After all, he is a key player. I don’t know why the deal ultimately failed. Frankfurt would have let N’Dicka go, Markus Krösche wants to avoid free transfers. Juventus, I have heard, want to change their strategy on the market.

“The big names will no longer come. Juventus has seen, following the example of Napoli, that it is possible to work successfully even with slightly less well-known players who, however, have given excellent results in their respective leagues. N’Dicka would be a player in this category.”
