According to Calciomercato.it, Kalulu will now be represented by Jonathan Barnett’s Stellar agency after previously entrusting Vlado Lemic, with whom there had been discussions over a contract extension but no agreement was found.

The last meeting between the parties dates back to May, in which the mutual desire to continue together was expressed, but Milan were not keen on a substantial change in the current salary the defender receives.

Now Milan will have to decipher what Barnett’s real intentions are for his new client. Stellar do not have bad relations with Milan at all, quite the contrary as seen by Sergino Dest’s deadline day arrival from Barcelona.

In fact, the change in entourage could accelerate the extension of the 22-year-old. This is despite the fact the Stellar agency are often associated with transfers to the Premier League and Kalulu – due to his physical and technical qualities – could have many admirers there.

The current contract of the Frenchman will expire in June 2025 and Milan were talking over a new agreement until 2027. Paolo Maldini has the firm conviction to continue these discussions but now his salary will have to go from €400k net per season to around €1.6-1.8m per year, given his value has now skyrocketed to around €35-40m.
