According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Lazetic was called up at the last minute for the trip to face Torino. The Rossoneri are battling with a number of injury problems because Ismael Bennacer, Ante Rebic and Samu Castillejo are out due to muscle fatigue, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic has a knee overload.
That means the decision to start Olivier Giroud up front is pretty much locked in but there are now no other alternatives in the centre-forward role apart from the former Red Star youngster, who took the field yesterday for the Primavera against Cagliari.
Indeed, the report adds that with Ibra and Rebic out tonight for the game against the Granata, Lazetic will be the first alternative to Giroud and could come off the bench.
