Rade Krunic has been extensively linked with a move away from AC Milan, and the Bosnian has a preference to move to Turkey. In the opening days of the January mercato, his suitors have made the first steps in signing him, but there is a need to negotiate for a deal to happen.
The situation with Krunic has been clear for some time. He had his heart set on a move away from the San Siro in the summer, but Milan needed to keep him due to a lack of midfield options, given Ismael Bennacer was still injured.
Since then, there has only been one direction that the scenario has gone. Stefano Pioli has been reluctant to select him, with zero playing time since the end of November, and the manager confirmed during his presser today that a transfer is the best outcome.
Fenerbahce have continued their pursuit of the 30-year-old in recent months. Today, Daniele Longo has reported through his X account that Fenerbahce have made their first formal offer to Milan for Krunic – offering €3million upfront with additional bonuses.
However, this figure is seen as too low for the Diavolo to sell him. It is reported that the Turkish outfit would have to offer at least an extra €2m to consider a sale.
