GdS: Messias could make way for a new winger this summer – the two targets

AC Milan could well reinforce their right flank this summer and that may spell the end of Junior Messias’ time at the club, a report claims.

La Gazzetta dello Sport writes how the right side of the attack is one of the most evident weak points in this year’s squad and Messias could be the one who makes way for a potential new signing.

The Brazilian has been used regularly by Stefano Pioli – including as a mezzala for the first half of the derby, albeit with little success – but Alexis Saelemaekers is in fact considered more functional to the team at present.

If the former Crotone man were to leave, it would probably be a permanent and he would then have to be replaced. One of the names on the list is Nicolo Zaniolo who is going to Galatasaray but his contract there should have a release clause, while the other is Hakim Ziyech.
