GdS: Milan have €100m+ to spend in the summer with four signings lined up

AC Milan have a big summer transfer budget available to reinforce the squad ahead of the 2022-23 season and they have four signings in mind, a report claims.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports that while the management waiting to understand how the current season will end, preparations are being made for the Rossoneri’s summer mercato and they want to make big signings to give Stefano Pioli an even more competitive squad.

After spending about €75m euros last summer, Milan are now ready to invest €100m which could even become more in the event of a Scudetto. Centre-back Sven Botman and central midfielder Renato Sanches – both of Lille – are the two top targets and each would cost around €30m.

The newspaper claims that the remaining balance could then be invested in the attack, including on some young talent to grow. The Rossoneri have targeted Hugo Ekitike of Reims – a striker with 9 goals in 21 league games this season – as well as Spurs winger Steven Bergwijn who is finding little space.
