CM.it: Milan pondering Brahim-style formula amid interest in €30m Real Madrid midfielder

AC Milan could make an attempt to sign midfielder Eduardo Camavinga with Real Madrid open to an exit, according to reports.

Calciomercato.it cite a report from Diario Gol in claiming that Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti wants a new central midfielder and he has two names at the top of his preferences: Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund and Enzo Fernandez of Benfica. There will be strong competition to land both, and it would be a costly deal.

That’s why Ancelotti is also willing for an important sale to make it easier to fund a move and Camavinga is the prime suspect at the moment. He has not had much playing time since his move and after the World Cup with France he may well also push for an exit.

The report from Calciomercato.it mention that Camavinga would be willing to leave Los Blancos to get the opportunity to have more playing time and continue his growth, and Milan could be the ideal destination for him.

The Rossoneri focus heavily on young players and need a midfielder with the characteristics of the former Stade Rennais star, while Milan have a great relationship with Real and could exploit that to try strike a deal for the 20-year-old, who cost €30m. Milan could try a loan with option to buy, as they did with Brahim Diaz.
