News emerged from Torino yesterday that centre-back Gleison Bremer has renewed his contract with Torino until June 2024, but it will not put his admirers off.

Calciomercato.com reports how his previous agreement expired in 2023 and it has now been extended by a further year, with a salary that has risen to approximately €1.8m net per year. Almost all the big clubs are keen on signing the Brazilian including Juventus, Milan and Napoli, but it is Inter that are currently in the lead.
Bremer made the decision to ensure some security for the club that bet on him and helped him grow into one of the best young centre-backs in Serie A if not in Europe, but as part of the renewal it was also agreed that in June he can leave.
The player has signed an unwritten pact with Torino president Urbano Cairo which confirms that from the summer if an offer of €25-30m arrives, he will leave Turin. As mentioned Inter are on pole because Marotta and Ausilio consider him the number one target, but the other clubs could have their say yet.
